"AI is transforming the coding of computer programs"

Thoughts:

From a non-specialist’s perspective of view, GPT-3 is astonishing in a way that a software made with natural language generation in mind also provides software code completion. Perhaps those two aren’t that much different when it comes to analyzing and generating. Although I am pretty skeptic about ‘AI code completions’ because ones in VS code and IntelliJ weren’t much of a help, a radical approach might be another way to achieve the goal(e.g. speak what I want and the software makes the code). 

I hope that ‘democratizing’ coding makes the whole application market more colorful and powerful, like printing did with writing. However, we might see similar codes being spewed in lots of different apps, because everyone will use the same tools for coding. In that case, optimization service and patenting one’s idea will become much more important than now.
